Jean-Michel Cousteau wanted a resort that respected and honored the indigenous people of Fijians so he founded the Cousteau Resort. This resort is the place for those who want to experience nature in its most pristine form. Here you can hike a rainforest with a naturalist or snorkel and dive with a marine biologist.
The Cousteau resort is situated on the north island of Vanua Levu where Savusavu Bay meets the Koro Sea. The resort is set on 17 beachfront acres and consists of 25 Fijian styled bures. Each bure has private decks, overhead fans, honor bars, robes, coffee makers hair dryers and fresh flowers. There are no phones in the room. Couteau Divers is your dive host and will share with you over 300 species of corals and fish.
