Your hosts, the Douglas Family, have lived in this island paradise for three generations and have designed for their guests 10 Fijian Bures along a white sand beach that stretches the full length of the resort. The thatched roof bures have queen size beds, screened lounge areas, fully stocked mini-bars and private patios in-suite. There is even a "Treehouse" 30 feet off the ground in a Pacific Almond tree.

The diving is famous in this northern region for its spectacular soft corals. For those who want more diving, after Matagi Resort, book 4 to 7 onto "The Matagi Princess" operated by the Douglas Family for a four to seven day trip. The resort is reached by a 30 minute boat ride from the island of Taveuni.
