Bali Stopover

The tiny volcanic island of Bali is one of the most mystical and physically beautiful places on this earth. It is rich with ancient traditions, and the Balinese still celebrate their religion with ceremonial events and lavish offerings.

The best diving on Bali is situated either along the eastern shore or off the island's northwest point.

Diving in Bali - East Side

On the east side, Tulamben offers some of the finest diving in Bali and has recently been discovered by muck divers. You can also dive on the Liberty wreck here. There are excellent coral walls with many species of fish.

Menjangan Island offers a variety of rich bank reefs and coral walls. There is also an old wreck located here.

Candi Dasa

The islands in front of Candi Dasa (Tepekong, Gili, Mimpang, and Gili Likuan) offer excellent diving with a variety of fish life, including larger species. The temperatures are generally colder here so we recommend a 3 mil wet suit. Much of the good diving can be done offshore.
