The Derawan Islands are situated off the coast of Sulawesi in the province of East Kalimantan. The islands are scarcely populated and remain natural with no pollution to the environment.

We will be land-based on Derawan Island, staying in comfortable beach-front cottages. On Derawan Island we dive beautiful coral gardens with big groupers, rays, barracudas, and sharks. The green turtles are renowned here and at night you can observe the turtles laying eggs. We travel by boat on alternate days to Sangalaki and Kakaban Island. The big drop-off at Kakaban Island is where you will find the pelagic fish, schools of barracuda, trivally, and mackerel. This island is known for its hammerhead sharks.

Derawan is offering a discount on dive packages. The 5 night Package will be offered for the price of the 6 night package. Group rates on request. Additional days may be added or deleted to this program.

6 nights Derawan Resort with all meals.

3 boat dives a day with unlimited off shore diving at Derawan Island. Unlimited night diving.

3 days at Kakaban and Sangalaki, 2 tank dives at these locations, third dive will be done at Derawan.

Round trip boat transfers from airport to Derawan Island.
