How to get there

We recommend traveling on our contract fares with Singapore Airlines. Singapore departs out of San Francisco, Los Angeles and New York for Singapore. From Singapore there are two flights a week in both directions on Silkair to Balikpapan: Monday and Thursday. From Balikpapan there are daily flights to Berau. The cost for the round trip flight from Balikpapan to Berau is 190.00 round trip including 25 Kg baggage allowance and airport tax. The overweight cost for baggage is very reasonable, about 7,500 Rp which approximates 1 U.S. dollar.
