Truk Lagoon is a wreck diver's dream. More than 60 submerged vessels and downed aircraft rest beneath the crystal clear waters of the Truk Lagoon. In this 40 mile Truk Lagoon are found the silent remains of the Japanese Imperial Navy 4th Fleet the US Naval Forces sunk during World War II. Today, these remnants of an age past are remarkably intact and serve as a monument of brilliant coral surrounding the sunken wrecks.

How to get there

We recommend our low cost air fares on Continental Airlines. There are many Continental cities which connect with Continental Airlines out of the West Coast. Many of our divers combine Truk with other Micronesian Islands. There is a minimal cost to add other islands to your destination.

Travel tips and information

The water in the Moen Lagoon is quite calm and protected. The water temperature can range from the low 80's to the mid 80's. It can get quite humid in Truk. The best time to come is from January through April. There are other islands outside Weno where one can rent a small boat and visit a local site.

Buy a love stick as a souvenir. Visit the Truk Trading Store, the largest in the world. An interesting tour is a vist to Nefo Cave to observe a Japanese Navel gun with a good view of Weno Centre.
