This remote and unique setting is truly a Robinson Caruso Island. The resort is situated on a white sand beach overlooking the world's largest lagoon with a back ground of beautiful mountains. There are six bungalows set in tropical gardens with four bungalows with sea views.
The "slot" which runs along the ocean side of Uepi was the ocean path the Japanese used for bringing their ships from Rabaul to the Solomons. It is a deep water 800 foot canyon where sightings have been observed of sail fish, marlin and small pods of orcas. Dolphins are regularly sighted and hump backed whales pass by on odd occasions. Aside from the superb diving at Uepi, there are many local villages to visit on other islands.
