Accommodations: The main deck has the air-conditioned stateroom with private bathroom. The lower deck has 3 deluxe staterooms and 2 standard cabins. These cabins are also air-conditioned and have private bathrooms.
Itinerary: 7 to 10 days. The 7 day itineraries depart and return to Bali. Most of the diving will be done in the Komodo area. The 10 day itineraries are one way to Timor, also diving the Komodo area. There is a one way flight from Bali to Timor. TV and VCD in the air-conditioned lounge. Unlimited diving, up to 5 tanks a day.
In 2002, the Pelagian will spend a year on an exploratory trip diving, Papua New Guinea, Indonesia, the Solomon Islands, Micronesia and Indonesia. |

Port: Komodo Length: 110 foot spacious motor sailer retrofitted in 1998 for remote diving operations. Maximum amount of passengers: 14, however, they generally limit the boat to 12 divers.
Accommodations: 7 cabins air-conditioned with 3 shared showers and bathrooms. This boat is very comfortable with lots of deck and living space. The living area includes a large salon and foredeck and aft deck undercover areas, both with removable covers.

Beginning in January 2002 Peter Hughes will introduce the Ombak Puith to its fleet and it will become the Komodo Dancer. The boat is a traditional Buginese schooner (pinisi). The boat is 108 feet in length and the beam is 30 feet. There are 12 air-conditioned twin share with private bathroom staterooms. Watch for further details. |
